We FINALLY made it.  FTLtoday.com is now the #1 Foodie in South Florida, according to Zomato.com.

#1 Foodie South Florida

Recently, one of the country’s top rated restaurant review websites, Urbanspoon.com was purchased by Zomato and after many months of data migration, our South Florida area restaurants are now searchable online.  And like Urbanspoon, Mark and I are beyond happy with Zomato’s leaderboard finally showing Fort Lauderdale Today as the number one restaurant review Foodie in South Florida.

Zomato assigns points to food bloggers – 25 points for each restaurant review or blog post and 2 points for each picture. To become an “expert” in a single neighborhood or city, you’ll need 10 reviews and 50 photos. In addition, a blogger’s total overall points let them climb a 13-level community ladder.  FTL Today is proud to have achieved their highest level of “Connoisseur” being an expert in Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas and 10 other communities with our 400+ restaurant posts and reviews and over 2,000+ photos.

#1 Foodie South Florida

Mark and I want to thank all our blog readers in helping us finally become the #1 Foodie in Fort Lauderdale and South Florida.  We sincerely enjoy sharing our foodie experiences, both the good and the bad and look to sharing many more.  Thank you all!!!

Maybe, but I read Inside every day, and never read this site. Nice badge though!

Being #1 might be just for today -or- could be forever. In either case, we’re enjoying the moment now.
And that’s part of the fun of the South Florida food blog community. Different blogs have different review styles.
Food bloggers can visit the same restaurant, order the same dish and yet have totally different experience and opinion.
      Thank you for the comment.

That actually pretty nice badge considering that Florida is simply a tourist destination, its largest employer is the Hospitality industry, its #1 destination is Disney World and the 2nd is Saw Grass Mills. South florida is a foodies wet dream.
