At 12:00 AM Friday...the 2007 Hurricane Season officially kicks off.  Everyone's saying it will be another above normal season.  I think they are going to say that every year.   That way, if they are wrong and there are less...no big deal.  However, if they are wrong and we are slammed with a few....everyone will say "well you said it was going to be normal."

If you are planning a trip here this summer, just keep an eye on the weather.  You can see these storms approaching.  All hotels and airlines have become experts at dealing with them lately.  They will accommodate everyone with what is needed.  If you are still nervous, buy travel insurance. 

And if you are a resident...check your supplies.  That SPAM and Tuna you have been saving only lasts a few years.
