Luxury Train Service in the Works Between Washington DC and South Florida.
Want another travel option to escape to South Florida? Or maybe you live in Florida and are looking for another option to get to Washington DC. Well, Amtrak announced today that it will partner with GrandLuxe Rail Journeys and will offer upscale train service between DC and South Florida.
The trip will include 5-course dinners, and special sleeping accommodations in a 7-car add on to the Amtrak silver train.
This sounds like a cool option that will give you a whole different view of the country. It will however, come at a high price. The 2 day 1 night trip will cost you $789. The train will stop in Palm Beach and Broward counties.
The service will be limited and 40 trips are planned between November and January.
