Gov. Charlie Christ Wednesday, allowed legislation for Broward County Slot Casinos to become law without his signature.  The changes allow each Casino to have up to 2,000 slot machines (up from 1,500), would allow the casinos to have longer hours of operation (from 16 hours to 18 hours weekdays and 24 hours weekends).  Another change allows the casinos to install ATM machines on property.

Good news to those enjoying the new casinos in town.  Good news to the casinos as well.  Maybe now they can make some money to expand the entertainment to draw more visitors.
