Starting this Saturday (August 4th), 'school supplies' that meet the criteria set by the state will be tax free for the next 2 weeks.  The last day for the tax break is Monday, August 13th.

This tax break is open to everyone...so don't think because you are not in school you don't get it.  Here is a short list of things that will be tax free:

-Clothing and related items with a sales price of $50 or less.
-Books with a sales price of $50 or less.
-School supplies with a sales price of $10 or less.

So keep this in mind if you are visiting or planning a trip down to Florida over the next few weeks.  You may want to hold off on a few purchases (books, etc.) until you get here.  Hey...we all can use the extra savings!
