Courtyard Marriott to Open on Ft. Lauderdale Beach - September 2007
The property once known as the DoubleTree Oceanfront Hotel, then just the Oceanfront Hotel Ft. Lauderdale...will be opening as a Courtyard Marriott in September 2007. The hotel was closed once Hurricane Wilma slammed into the area and it appears that Marriott took over the property and did a complete renovation.
The property address is 440 Seabreeze Blvd. and is right near Las Olas and A1A. PERFECT location for anyone wanting to stay on the beach. From what I can remember, there really isn't many tall buildings around it so you should be able to see the ocean with no problem.

-12 floors, 171 rooms, 90 suites.
-2 meeting rooms (1,412 sq ft of space)
-The hotel is Non-Smoking
