All I can say is....it's about time!  I went to this facility about 3 years ago and was very disappointed.  Many of the exhibits were outdated and not operational.  Well I can understand that children is the #1 target audience to this facility...you still need to keep it well maintained.  Science should be cool and full of technology with what kids are exposed to today.

AutoNation recently donated $3 million for naming rights to the IMAX theater within the Museum.  It's part of the plan to raise $20 million to drastically improve the facility and to double the space by 2010. 

Lets hope they get the funds needed and make this a fun destination for all.  Check out the IMAX theater now.  It's cool, especially with the first run blockbuster movies in 3-D.
