Officials closed a small part of the beach in Pompano Beach by the pier for positive tests of bacteria.  It wasn't reported exactly what bacteria...but they said the closed section of beach will re-open next week.

This happens from time to time.  Could be a natural bacteria bloom, sewage backup somehow, or other odd reason.  All other beaches are fine.
