What's Happening Around Ft. Lauderdale This Weekend (October 5-7)

Oakland Park Oktoberfest
When:         Saturday 10 AM - 11 PM
Where:        Corner of Dixie Hwy and NE38th Street, Oakland Park FL.
Cost:           $2 donation for adults, children are free.
What:          Food, music, drink and more on the cities "Main Street".  They are having a raffle for round trip airline tickets to Germany.  Lots of activities planned as well.


Las Olas Art Fair
When:        Saturday & Sunday   9:30 AM - 6:30 PM
Where:      Downtown Ft. Lauderdale, along Las Olas Blvd.  The street is blocked off from US1 East about 6 blocks.
Cost:         Admission is free.  Parking for a fee at downtown garages.  There are free shuttles from most public parking lots. 
What:        Art exhibits and sellers from all around the country.  You know, it's the same things you see in every other major city.  This one is a good size and a GREAT location.  There are lots of stores on Las Olas and plenty of places to eat as well.

Suntrust Sunday Jazz Brunch
When:      First Sunday of Every Month  11 AM - 2 PM
Where:   Downtown Ft. Lauderdale - Riverwalk Entertainment District.
Cost:       Free.
What:      Enjoy jazz music while dining at one of the restaurants in the area.  5 stages allow for the perfect jazz experience.
