Wanna See Some Bodies?
The controversial traveling exhibit - Bodies, is on it's way to Ft. Lauderdale. It's been to Tampa and Miami and now makes a stop at the Riverwalk Entertainment Complex - Las Olas Riverfront.
Starting this Saturday (thru 2/17/07)...you will be able to see 20 whole human cadavers and 250 internal organs and specimens. The show has been traveling all over the US and has drawn hundreds of thousands of visitors. There are versions right now in Las Vegas and New York.
For more information and ticket prices please visit their website. It should be a very unique say to spend a Saturday Afternoon.

I saw it up in Orlando back in May. I thought it was really great; very interesting! Although I wish they had better explanations written up for each item that was displayed. Worth checking out I think.
Now im a little confused on the location. It's located in Riverfront? Where is there room to display an exhibit?

Good Question. I was thinking the exact same thing. But if you have been to the Riverfront Complex lately, you will notice a lot of empty space. There are a few restaurants that are closed and I'm not sure but I think one of the nightclubs is closed in there too. I hear the days are numbered for Riverfront as we know it.
Even though it's sad that the complex isn't doing well (and it was built with tax dollars), I think the new plans for a hotel and some entertainment space (shopping and restaurant too) look great. They look like how the place should have been built the first time.
