Judge denies Attorney General Bill McCollum's appeal of Seminole/Crist compact.

U.S. District Judge Paul L. Friedman rejected the argument McCollum and Senate Speaker Rubio submitted that Crist possibly entered the agreement without proper authority.  The Judge found that the agreement would do the state no harm, thus is invalid.  This ruling was McCollum's plea to block the compact and move up the hearing dates.

The Supreme Court will hold hearings on the case on January 30th as originally scheduled.

Another chapter down.
