Sure...this is a site dedicated to Ft. Lauderdale...but Miami is really close by so why not sip on the Miami Beach Cocktail?  With so many variations of every kind of drink out there...you don't have to stick to this exact recipe.  Part of the fun of mixology is to make small changes to make it your own.  You can even substitue the whiskey for vodka...it won't be the 'Miami Beach Cocktail', but rather a martini.  Have fun..mix it up.


Miami Beach Cocktail

3/4 oz Dry vermouth
3/4 oz Scotch whiskey
3/4 oz Grapefruit juice

Directions:  Stir all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.  Garnish with cherries.
