I’ve said it before…It seems like I’m always the person my friends come to (even at work) to make travel plans. This time someone wanted me to find a romantic vacation for Valentine's Day weekend. With so many places to go …it’s hard to narrow the search. Of course there is South Florida…(Ft. Lauderdale and Miami)…but when you live here, you want a change of scenery. I have a web site in my files that always helps me when I don’t know where to start. They actually have ‘top 10’ lists that can point you in the right direction. I went to http://www.hotelsbycity.net/top10/ and there I found all different kinds of categories. There is even one called 'Top 10 Valentine’s Day Vacations'.

#8 is Key West. Found the destination.  The site also shows attractions in the area, maps, and even a few pictures. I always send the link to the friend I'm booking for...especially if it's their first time visiting that city.  The site is also a great place to find cheap hotels. Now it’s cheap as in price…not quality. You’ll find luxury hotels on the list. While looking through the information for Key West, I even noticed a listing on the side showing every major city in Florida…offering help to find ‘cheap’ hotel rooms.

The site is very easy to navigate and there is lots of information on each destination…so check it out the next time you are planning a trip.
