Well it's Ash Wednesday...so I figured we should post a drink recipe without alcohol.  Pomegranates are a bit unique to work with...but it will be fun.  Oh...and try not to get any of the juice on your clothes.  I hear it's really hard to wash out.


Pomegranate Paradise

4-5 oz Chilled ginger ale 
1/2 oz Grenadine or Pomegranate syrup (non-alcoholic)
Cracked ice
Optional garnish: 5-7 pomegranate seeds (from the fresh fruit)

Directions:  Combine ingredients (except garnish) in glass measuring cup. Stir to combine.  Strain into chilled martini glass. If desired, garnish with pomegranate seeds. **Serve immediately.
