Trump Ft. Lauderdale has some color.
While this place seems to be taking forever to complete, it looks like they are starting to paint the exterior. It's starting to take shape. It definitely looks unique and will stand out. I'm wondering how many of the condo units are sold...In another year there will be lots of new hotel rooms going on line as well on Ft. Lauderdale beach. Not only will the Trump be open, but the new W Hotel about a block down will be opening it's doors.

The Trump Tower is without a doubt the ugliest building on Ft. Lauderdale beach. I walk by it nearly every day in wonderment how people could spend $1 million for a 1,000 sq ft. condo to live in this monstrosity. It is an architectural train wreck. It looks likes a cross between a state correctional facility and a courthouse.
The W, just a block away, is perhaps the most stunning building on the beach. Its fluid architecture gives a sense of movement.
Both buildings over look a beach view crowded with container ships and freighters parked a few hundred yards off shore waiting for a berth in the increasingly overcrowded Port Everglades.
We can argue over who has the worse view ... the fools paying millions for condo hotels overlooking a line of commercial ships or those on the ships who have to look at the Trump Tower!
