Another Democratic Primary in Florida?
Here we go again. It seems that Florida is in the center of an election. This time there are no hanging chads or any other issue from years past (dare we forget?). This time both Florida and Michigan are talking about holding a 2nd primary so that the elections will count at the Democratic National Convention. You see...both Florida and Michigan moved up their primaries and the Democratic Party said it was a 'no-no'. As a penalty, they said that the results will not count. Well, it's become a big issue now since the race between Clinton and Obama has been so close. There are a lot of delegates in these 2 sates. It's also not a really good idea to penalize the voters. It might even leave a bad taste in their mouth and force them to vote differently in November.
The big issue is the cost. Can they afford it? Also, will everyone suffer from voting exhaustion? I guess only time will tell.
