Anyone looking at college options knows that the cost is going up each year.  With the current economy, many people are having trouble figuring out how they are going to pay for school...either for their children or themselves.  I remember when I was applying to colleges, I heard about so many scholarships...many of which you would never even think of.  That was many years ago...long before the ability to search on line.  I'm sure that there were many more scholarships out there back then that we were not even aware of.  The databases were not as complete as some can be today.

Well there is a site out there that has a database of financial aid scholarships from all over the country.  The website is very easy to use and you can search by all different types of criteria.  I really wish this was available when I was searching for scholarships.  Scholarships.com even can keep you organized in your search.  They will even help create custom scholarship application request letters and also filter the scholarships that best match your academics, talents & interests.  They also provide some quick statistics on all colleges.  I did a quick search for FL schools and the result was amazing.  I didn't even know there were so many schools down here. 

Scholarships.com is a must visit site if you are considering attending college.  If someone you know is starting their college search, pass the word.  Why pass up financial help if there is some out there?
