Well we here at FTLToday have already filed out taxes this year, so today is just another day for us.  However, if you are one of the many that wait until April 15th today's the day.  (We might suggest E-filing next year...much less stress!)

While most post office locations close at 5 PM (physically, not mentally...don't get me started on some of those wonderful postal workers!), there are a few locations that will have employees collecting returns in the parking lot until midnight.  There are also a few that have actual hours after 5 PM. 

Locations that are collecting forms in the parking lot until 12 midnight:
Fort Lauderdale Main Office at 1900 West Oakland Park Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale.
South Florida Retail Unit at 16000 Pines Blvd. in Pembroke Pines.

Locations normally open past 5 PM:
South Florida Retail Unit at 16000 Pines Blvd. in Pembroke Pines (open till 7 PM).
Sawgrass Postal Store at 12801 W. Sunrise Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale (open till 7 PM).
University Postal Store at 7972 Pines Blvd. in Hollywood (open till 8 PM).




I also heard that McDonald's is having the Big Mac on sale on Tax Day - Buy one Big Mac at regular price...get the 2nd for just a penny.  We would have rather seen a $.99 Big Mac sale so we wouldn't be pressured to buy two!  I guess you could always give the 2nd one away and write it off as a donation for 2008's return, right?
