The Isle Casino in Pompano is celebrating it's 1 year birthday today.  How time flies.  We thought we would mention it as The Isle takes the #1 spot in Broward County for slot revenue.  At least #1 out of the three pari-mutuals that operate Vegas Style slots.  They are actually pulled in $99 million last year which is more than the other two casinos combined (Mardi Gras $62 million and Gulf Stream - $30 million). 

The facility is really nice and it's easy to see why they are taking the top spot.  We've raved about the property many times on FTLToday and hope they continue to do well (and expand their entertainment options).  While it's not the 'huge' numbers everyone projected...it's not too bad in a soft economy.
