No...for real.  When times get tough, crime rates usually increase and that includes home robberies.  The worse feeling is to have someone break into your home.  It leaves you feeling violated and unsafe.  With technology today there are a lot of ways you can fight back. 

Along with arming your home with a security system, why not invest in a CCTV system?  They are so cool and you can find so many different options to fit your needs and budget.  Not only can they protect your home, but they can help keep tabs on children or even the nanny!  They make them so small you can put them almost anyplace in your home too.

A friend of mine invested in a CCTV system and was able to catch some neighborhood vandals that kept breaking windows.  Little did the teens know they were being recorded.  Ft. Lauderdale police were able to identify and prosecute everyone involved.  Imagine what else you can do with technology like this.
