With the Memorial Holiday ahead of us...the pain will be felt not from drinking too much...but at the gas pump.  There doesn't seem to be an end to the rising cost of gas and there are reports that Broward County has the highest average price in the state.  I actually believe these reports.  Today up in Deerfield Beach (the area in which I work)...gas was $3.99 for regular unleaded.  Wow.

I guess those of us in our mid to late 30's now know how our parents feel.  We can say "I remember when gas was $.85 a gallon and you could see a first run movie for just $3.50 on opening night!". 

Lets hope things level off soon.
