Liquidation sale at Ft. Lauderdale's 'Yankee Trader' hotel, Saturday June 7, 2008.

The Yankee Trader Hotel on Ft. Lauderdale beach will soon begin it's huge renovation project.  In order to make room, they have decided to hold a huge 'garage sale on the beach'.  In other words it's a liquidation sale to dispose of all the old items in the hotel.  So if you are a bargain hunter, or are on a tight budget...you might want to head over this Saturday (June 7).  Once the hotel re-opens next year, it will be more of a 'luxury' hotel.

Some of the items for sale include:
449 25-inch TVs
918 rattan chairs
1,200 white plates
1,200 comforters
1,200 scenic seaside paintings
Bed sheets
Telephones
Ceiling fans
Mirrors
Lamps
Wall art
Desks
Miles of carpeting
Three humongous hotel dryers.

The hotel & sale is located at:
321 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd
Ft. Lauderdale Beach, FL

I checked this sale out. DON'T GO! The people running it are shady characters. Not at all like other similar sales I've gone to. Overpriced and overbearing. Save your time, gas and money.
