I'm guessing since the Air & Sea Show flew out of town this year...Ft. Lauderdale Beach is looking for an alternative.  The music festival would span a weekend and would have all kinds of different music artists performing.  While it's gaining attention from city officials...it's far form a 'done-deal'.  The biggest concern is the type of music that will be offered.  Everyone wants 'family friendly' artists that span over all kinds of genres.

The next step is for the promoters to try and obtain a roster and submit it to the city for approval.  If it is a success, it might be a yearly gig.
