Gloria Estefan, a long time South Florida resident, has a reputation of giving back to our community. It's a great thing to see. She announced today that she is going to be putting on a concert at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on October 24, which will benefit area schools. Not only have they donated a 'sizable amount' to the cause themselves, they will be donating a percentage of all ticket sales.

Gloria said to expect a 'greatest hits show, from top to bottom'. That's a lot of territory to cover with all of the hits she's had over the years. This will be Gloria's first concert in South Florida in 4 years and I'm sure the 5,500 seat auditorium will be sold out. It's going to be a Friday night, so book a room and make a night of it...play some Blackjack, hit the slots, have a great dinner and catch what is going to be a great show....and help area schools while your at it. You can even catch some 'Gloria' memorabilia that is on display at the casino now through the concert date.
