While looking through the newspaper yesterday, Jeff happened to see an article about a Jet Pack demonstration at the Seminole Coconut Creek Casino this weekend.  You think he really had to twist my arm to go with him to check it out?  Right! 

While the demo was kind of short..it was really cool.  The Jet Pack guy came out at noon and we were warned probably 5 times to cover our ears due to it being so loud.  Well...they were not kidding..the Jet Pack was soooo loud...I was hardly able to get any pics.  Jeff shot some video and I posted it on YouTube.  (The video is also located at the bottom of the posting.)  The Jet Pack guy made one loop and landed.  We had an excellent view and were they right about it being loud.  They should actually hand out ear plugs.

  

         

 

The Seminole Coconut Creek Casino is really running some cool and unique promos.  Right now they are having a contest where you could actually win a trip to outer space.  They also have some space items on display like replicas of R2D2, The Robot from Lost in Space and Robbie the Robot from the Forbidden Planet movie.  They've also seemed to change over most of the slot machines to the Class III type (not bingo).
