Don't drink the water for 24 hrs if your supply comes from Ft. Lauderdale.

Residents that use Ft. Lauderdale's water source are urged to not drink the tap water for the next 24 hours. Earlier today a small amount of machinery lubricant was accidentally spilled into the water supply. Until testing is complete and the water is confirmed safe, officials are urging residents to use bottled water for drinking (and cooking). The good news is that you can still wash and take a shower/bath.
They are also asking everyone to cut down on water use until testing is complete to ensure adequate water pressure is kept.
I sure hope we get a full detailed report on how this happen and what measures are being taken to prevent it in the future. It's hard to believe that this type of accident can happen. Kind of ironic that they keep saying that the residents are the ones that waste water.
