There is now an opening date posted for the new CVS store on Ft. Lauderdale Beach.  The sign says it will be opening November 2, 2008.  It will be located in the Beach Place Entertainment Complex and will hopefully breathe some life into this place.  It's actually a great move since there really isn't a place to get stocked up for your beach visit on the strip.  Not to mention it's going to be a lot cheaper to buy your snacks, soda and water here than at your hotel gift shop.
