Some signs of life on the patio of the Ft. Lauderdale Beach Hilton....FINALLY!
The Ft. Lauderdale Beach Hilton has been open for almost 2 years now and I've always hated how it looked from A1A. It looked bare, bland and just unspectacular. The lobby is a bit small, but stylish and current. I snapped these pictures in the lobby by the meeting rooms.

The patio on the street level facing the beach was actually very busy. FINALLY! I don't know what took them so long to find things to put in this space, but what a change it makes. There is a new 'café' that serves everything from fresh baked goods, salads, crepes, sandwiches and lots more. It was pretty busy at 8 AM on a Saturday too. Prices seemed 'reasonable' and looks like a great place to grab something quick.

There were places to sit inside of Le March and also outside on the patio. Very nice touch. They've added more patio furniture which allows for some people to relax and watch the Atlantic Ocean.

(Hilton, Ft. Lauderdale Beach patio for anyone to relax and enjoy the beach scenery.)
It also looks like they are adding something to the outside. There was a public notice posted. Hmmmmm. Wonder what's up their sleeve.
