St. Regis Ft. Lauderdale Beach signs come down, Ritz goes up.
The re-branding of the St. Regis Hotel Ft. Lauderdale to a Ritz-Carlton is now complete.

While the hotel has been open for a little over a year, the re-branding isn't that big of a deal. Ritz properties might actually draw more people than the St. Regis brand. I don't think they've changed anything, just the overall name of the hotel. The lobby isn't that huge, but it's comfortable. It's a great place to cool off since the A/C works GREAT! The lobby music is really great as well. It's kind of modern easy listening...a touch of a Euro sound.

I think you can also tell how nice a hotel is by the lobby restroom. This one is the nicest on the beach and there are REAL hand towels to dry your hands when you wash them.

The lobby was spotless and everyone was very friendly as we walked through. This is going to be quite the luxury market once the W and Trump open.
