A Christmas Place means Christmas 365 days a year!
I bet a lot of people down here in South Florida didn't realize that in one store in Ft. Lauderdale...it's Christmas all year! I've driven by this store many times and never even thought to stop in. Well, last weekend...that changed.

When you step into A Christmas Place, you are saturated with everything Christmas. It's split up into different sections with all kinds of merchandise busing at the seams. They have everything from trees to ornaments to home decorations. They have a whole room filled with those huge yard decorations that everyone seems to be using lately. They have a section of lights that puts any other store to shame. They even had a 'snow machine' that turns on every few minutes and 'snows'. Well, it's actually some kind of soap mixture that appears to be snow when it's blown out.

If those 'miniature' houses are your thing...they've got them too. They say the store has over 150,000 items...I bet there are more. You could really spend an hour or 2 just looking around and enjoying the place. It reminded me of the stores in a Michigan city where it's Christmas all year...Frankenmuth. I used to love going there with the family when I was a kid. What kid who's family celebrates Christmas wouldn't love a store like this?
