Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood still has Blackjack and Class III Slots.

I stopped in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino today to see what's been going on.  Well, I forget that this place feels more like a Las Vegas Casino every time I visit.  They have some Holiday decorations up which got me in the Christmas mood.

The Poker Room was moved to outside of the casino to make room for the Blackjack and other card games now offered.  Poker Players can find the room (much bigger now) just outside of the casino in the Paradise entertainment complex.  They even have a few Blackjack tables outside of the Poker Room..kind of a 'Blackjack Cafe'.

Inside of the casino, the "High Limit' slot room is open and seemed to be quite busy.  They are currently doing some minor construction inside of the 'Non-Smoking' slot room, but there are still machines available to play.  The Blackjack and other card games are located in a few areas around the casino.  I saw some $15 minis for Blackjack and that was at noon on a Saturday.  I'm not really a card player, so I'm not sure if that is a good mini or not.  They seemed to be quite busy....and as a matter of fact, so did the slots.  It looks like they have just about changed all of the slot machines over to the 'class III' or Vegas Type slots.  They have some impressive brands as well.  Some of the newest machines on the market can be found here.

After playing a bit on the slots, we walked through the Paradise Entertainment area.  Some of the stores were gone...as you can image with this wacky economy...but I did notice a few signs of sign of stores that will be opening soon.  While they were not open yet, the sign did look 'new'...so maybe there will a slight delay.

All of the restaurants and bars/clubs seemed to be still open and from what I hear, do a strong business.  The new kid on the block is one of those 'Hooka' lounges.  I wonder if they really get strong business.  I know you can order flavors of the items that are smoked (it's all legal stuff)...but I'm not really sure what it is you are smoking.

I'm still impressed with this whole property.  They are always trying new things and doing some kind of renovation here which keeps things interesting.  It's a total destination property and hopefully some of the other Casinos in the area can get the capital to offer these types of casino/entertainment destinations.  After all, these places bring in tourists...and we all need them here in Florida.  In the good and bad times.
