One less restaurant at The Isle Casino.
I just got back from the Isle Casino in Pompano and noticed something interesting. There is now one less restaurant at the casino. Bragozzo's Italian Restaurant is closed. It was located upstairs next to the poker pit. The wine racks made an interesting exterior wall to the restaurant. The wine is still there (probably used by the other restaurant upstairs - Farradday's Steakhouse.) I didn't get to ask anyone if there are future plans for the spot...but they have to be planning something. Maybe they think they are going to get blackjack? Or maybe it's just another economy casualty.

It was a bit surprising to see the restaurant closed. The casino was pretty busy tonight and there was a wait for Myron's Deli and the Buffet was hopping too. I've only eaten at the Deli and the Buffet, so I'm not sure if the food quality had anything to do with the survival of the place. Maybe there is just too many Italian restaurants around these days.

Yeah, they closed months ago. It was so sad to hear, as I loved Bragozzo's, but hopefully something will go in there soon.

They closed in October mainly due to economic reasons. There is currently no set plan for the location though there are some ideas on the table.
