Chick-fil-A is jumping on the free food bandwagon here in South Florida.  Nine area restaurants will be giving away free breakfast entrées during the month of February...Monday thru Friday only from 6:30 AM  - 10:30 AM.  No purchase is necessary..but you are limited to only one free entrée per day per customer.  That's a pretty good deal.  They have all your regular breakfast items and you can't beat the price.  The expansion of Chick-fil-A to free standing restaurants has yet to come to East Ft. Lauderdale...so I won't be able to report on the breakfast menu.  I wonder if they have the criss-cross fries for breakfast...or some kind of other hash brown.  The fries are their 'trade-mark' to many of us....and now that McDonald's has chicken for breakfast...it should be a real fight.
