Check your doggie's fee prior to flying.
It seems that many airlines are increasing the fee to fly your pet. There are even some airlines banning little lap dogs from riding in the cabin (I actually would have to agree with this...sorry). If you are planning a trip and want to bring your pet, you should probably call ahead and shop around. Some fees are almost as much as a person's ticket...and you don't want to be surprised when you go to check in.
With all the fees increasing, it pays to do some research ahead of time. Some airlines (like Southwest) don't allow pets at all (cargo or cabin).
