The Atlantic Ft. Lauderdale Beach and Trina Restaurant.

While walking along Ft. Lauderdale Beach, I made it inside of the Atlantic Hotel.  It's been open for a few years now and was one of the first newly built 'luxury' hotels built during the boom.  It's not a huge property, but looks to be wall maintained.

It's located right next to the soon-to-be-opened W Hotel Ft. Lauderdale Beach and rooms overlook the Atlantic Ocean or the Intercoastal Waterway.  The lobby isn't that large, but relaxing.

I know you are going to laugh...but the restroom in the hotel lobby was worth taking a picture of.  Not only was it spotless, but the sink was unique and kid of cool.  It's bascially a slab of granite or marble without an indention.  The slab is tilted back so the water drains away from you.  I thought it was pretty cool, so I took a picture.

(Cool sink that's just a marble slab!  No 'indent' or drain at the bottom!)

There is a restaurant on property called Trina.  I've heard rave reviews of Trina and it boasts a four diamond review from AAA.  It is open for lunch and has outside dining that overlooks the beach.  If you are looking to save money..but want to try an upscale restaurant like Trina, lunch is a great option.  Food is just as good...but portions are a bit smaller and so are prices.  I popped my head inside and snapped a picture of the bar area.  Looks really nice.
