New section of The Colonnade Outlet at Sawgrass Mills due Fall 2009.

On Wednesday, July 15, the Simon Property Group that owns the Sawgrass Mills Outlet Mall (and many other malls around the US) announced that it is expanding. The Sawgrass Mills Mall will be adding a 22,000 square-foot addition, including a freestanding Italian restaurant at The Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills. The expansion will bring new luxury stores such as Canali, Tag Heuer, Tommy Bahama’s, Tumi and True Religion Brand Jeans, as well as Villagio, which will offer another great dining option for shoppers.

The Colonnade Outlet at Sawgrass Mills opened a few years ago and is home to more 'high-end' outlets. They also have a Grand Lux Café and a P.F Chang's restaurant making it a great place to stop, eat and shop. The new retail additions are due to open in the Fall of 2009 and the restaurant is due to open in early 2010...so keep an eye out here for more info. It's nice to see some retail is expanding here in South Florida.

The Sawgrass Mills Mall is one of my favorite places to visit. Glad to see them get larger.

I don't consider The Colonnade as part of Sawgrass Mills. The stores are full price boutiques, as opposed to save a penny outlets. What a pathetic excuse to surpass the Aventura Mall again as the largest mall in Florida. Better see an Aventura expansion twice the size, with a hotel and food court renovation.
