2010 Air Lauderdale show will have an entry fee.
They are still hammering out the details for next years 'Air Lauderdale' show, but one thing is certain. There will now be an entry fee for the main access on Ft. Lauderdale Beach. Of course...you can still see the planes in the air for free from a distance. The entry fee will allow you access to all of the events. These will include 'national' country and classic rock bands (yet to be named), an extreme sports section and some other spots to keep you busy in between the air portion of the show.
The fee allows for a better chance we don't lose it again. It also allows the organizers to make it more of an 'entertainment' event. This might work out great and has the possibility to draw all kinds of people (and revenue for Ft. Lauderdale businesses). The event is scheduled to run from 10 AM to 6 PM Saturday and Sunday, April 24-25, 2010. The amount of the fee has not been decided at this time.
Keep watching FTLToday for more info as details are released.

I knew a fee would be charged sooner or later but believe the show is worth it.
