Harbor Beach Marriott, Ft. Lauderdale Beach renovations.
The Harbor Beach Marriott on Ft. Lauderdale Beach is currently undergoing some major renovations. The hotel itself is one of the few that is directly on the beach and has a beautiful pool area.
Back on September 11, 2009...a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the new Harbor Beach Marriott restaurant called Sea Level. This new restaurant will be a great new spot for hotel guests and area residents, serving specialty cocktails and gourmet cuisine. The restaurant will seat 152 and will be directly ocean front, perched 15 feet above the beach, giving diners an unobstructed view of the Atlantic Ocean.
Once completed, Sea Level will complete the $50 million resort-wide renovation that has been taking place over the past few years. The renovations include: floor-to-ceiling rooms and suites renovation, expansion of The Spa at Harbor Beach fitness center...doubling it's size to 3,750 feet...offering state-of-the-art fitness machines and a revamped spa kitchen, and the 10,000-sq-foot oceanfront ballroom (to be completed in December).
The property was always really nice....with these improvements and renovations...I'd love to see it now. Here's a picture of those attending the groundbreaking ceremony.
