Disney gets approval from China to open park in Shanghai.

I'm starting to wonder if Disney knows when to call it quits. They seem to be obsessed with building Disney Theme Parks over seas. There are parks all over Europe...many of which have attendance problems. Part of the Disney experience for these countries is traveling to the United States and getting a taste of our culture. Just recently, Disney announced that it has obtained approval from China for a theme park in Shanghai. It will be a 'Magic Kingdom' type of park, with attractions geared to culture of China. China has suffered a slowdown in the current economy after an explosive growth period...so many residents are happy to see the project moving along. I bet. They are probably starting to see the smog lifting and need more construction to dirty up the air.
While you want to see a company expand and grow...I think that Disney should concentrate on it's US theme parks for now. Adding new attractions is a great way to ensure repeat visitors.
