Macy's actually owns the Bloomingdale's retail chain and has decided to branch out into the 'Outlet' business. This year, they will open four Bloomingdale's Outlet stores. Sawgrass Mills Mall will be one of the four locations to open. Bloomingdale's has been hit hard by the recession, while other high-end retail stores such as Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom's have done a little better...mostly due to their 'Outlet' retail locations.

There isn't an exact date when the store at Sawgrass will open, but I'm hearing by 2011...you'll be able to shop till you drop.
