The A1A Marathon is this Sunday (February 21, 2010) from 6 AM to 12:30 PM and will be held along A1A from Ft. Lauderdale Beach to Pompano Beach. This narrow stretch of road will be down to 2 lanes during the race. The two northbound lanes will be closed to vehicles and used for the runners. The two southbound lanes will be set to handle vehicular north and southbound traffic. There is also some road closures expected at Seabreeze Blvd (at Las Olas) from 6-7 AM and A1A just north of Sunrise Blvd.

If you plan on hitting the beach, you might want to give yourself some extra time.
