Art Fair/Craft Fair season in full swing in South Florida.

(Lauderdale-by-the-Sea Craft Fair)
The Art and Craft Fair season seems to be in full swing in South Florida. A few weeks ago the Las Olas Art Fair - Part Two had it moment in the sun...this weekend, the Lauderdale-by-the-Sea held it's Craft Fair. You couldn't have had nicer weather for an event like this either. While the Las Olas fairs are much larger...the Lauderdale-by-the-Sea Craft Fair is a great way to spend the afternoon. It's right on the beach so you can make a day of it. We were able to find free parking for the event too. Yeah...they had the typical fair foods too. Jeff had to get a funnel cake. Something doesn't seem right about eating a fried dough pastry with powdered sugar while you are at the beach.

We also hit the awesome deli off of Sea Grape and Commercial called LaSpada's Original Hoagies. If you are in the area...you MUST check this place out. They slice the meat fresh and put on a little 'show' too. The person slicing the meat throws it to the person making your sandwich. We split the 12" Italian Combo Hoagie. I didn't snap a picture...but it was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a very long time. I'll do a separate review of the place soon.

And after filling up on the Hoagie and funnel cake...we walked along the beach. While the beach is a little busier right by the pier...it's really quiet and relaxing a few blocks north. Take a look:
