With the summer heating things up in the US…many are thinking about a vacation to Australia and New Zealand. Many think of these destinations as exotic and too expensive, but with the US Dollar getting stronger, it just might be the best time to plan that trip ‘Down-Under’.

Australia holidays can be anything you make them. From exploring the ‘Outback’ to hitting the capital city of Sydney…there is a lot packed into this unique country. If you love the SCUBA diving in South Florida, you’ll love to visit the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Australia. Some of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world can be found here. Stop in one of the many villages along the way and shop and dine the day away. If you love wine, you’ll have to make it to the Napier Wine Country. Hawkes Bay winery is one of the most famous in the region.

If you are more of a solo traveler, there are many services that will help you make the most of your trip too. Don’t just think Australia and New Zealand are for couples and families. Solo travelers can hook up with a larger group and make new friends…or stick to themselves and take everything at their own pace. Language isn’t a problem here either since English is their native language.
