It appears that only a potion of Florida's 'panhandle' area is seeing small amounts of oil from the Gulf spill.  If you are planning a Florida Beach vacation, Ft. Lauderdale-Miami-Palm Beach are 100% oil free.  So are all of the beaches on Florida's west coast.  From the media coverage...they make it sound like all of Florida is impacted.  NOT SO.  The Keys are even oil free.

So plan your trips and come on down to Florida.  There are even some hotels that are offering a 'clean beach' guarantee.  Be sure to ask your reservation agent when booking.  Let's just hope that someone plugs that oil leak soon.
