Busch Gardens Tampa and SeaWorld Orlando plan new attractions.

This Spring, both Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and SeaWorld Orlando are planning to open new attractions. Busch Gardens will be opening their largest attraction that is a roller coaster and animal habitat. Cheetah Hunt will the park's first 'launch coaster' which will propel riders from 0 to 60 almost instantly. Three separate launch points will simulate what it is like to run like a Cheetah. The track will measure 4,429 feet and will include a 130-foot drop with a loop that will simulate weightlessness for a few seconds. Riders will also be taken through a faux Serengeti plain.

Along side of the coaster will be an actual Cheetah habitat allowing visitors to get up close to the animals called Cheetah Run. You'll be able to watch and learn more about this amazing animal with some interactive tools…great for the kids.

SeaWorld is adding to its popular Discovery Cove attraction with 'Grand Reef'. A white sandy beach will let visitors kick back and relax before heading to an underwater wonderland containing moray eels, reef sharks and other tropical fish. You'll also be able to snorkel with eagle rays and cross a rope bridge over a shark-infested lagoon.

Also in the Grand Reef will be the 'SeaVenture' attraction which is being called an 'underwater walking tour'. Guests will wear dive helmets and walk submerged paths. You'll be seeing more sharks and even some venomous fish. Discovery Cove will cost you a separate admission from the regular SeaWorld park.
