I know that some of the tourists don't care for the 'cooler' weather...but I'm loving it.  It gives us locals a chance to turn the Air Conditioners off, open the windows and enjoy lower electric bills.  It also allows us to get outside and and explore.  Tonight's weather was perfect and we took the opportunity to walk up to our favorite Gelato place...Gelato Station in Wilton Manors.

They offer Gelato along with some other Italian Ices and treats.  They have also expanded into some hot food items...although we haven't tried the food yet.  They will let you try any flavor you want, so you can be sure it's exactly what you'd be happy with.  Choose the 2 scoops and you can mix and match.  One scoop is actually pretty big and I usually stick to that size and it's only $2.95.

My favorite is the Pineapple Basil and I can't seem to 'not' order that flavor and it never disappoints.  Jeff opted for the Cotton Candy flavor.  I had a sample and yup...tasted just like fresh cotton candy at the fair.

Gelato Station is located on Wilton Drive right across from the new City Hall building.  It's a small place, but they do have outside seating to enjoy your sweets.
