New dining options and moving spots on Las Olas.
Las Olas is springing back to life after the recession caused some restaurant closings. A recent walk down Las Olas Blvd revealed some big changes.
-Rocco's Tacos is now OPEN. This new chain is bringing people down to the East side of Las Olas. With popular spots in West Palm and Boca…this one is sure to do well. It's located at 1313 E Las Olas Blvd Fort Lauderdale, FL. It's a lively spot with some good tacos. The guacamole is good as well..made 'table-side'. The guac portion is huge…and it's not that cheap (I think it's around $10 or $12). The tacos are priced around $2 or $3 each…and they also have full meals.

-Luigi's Coal Oven Pizza is opening just east of Rocco's Tacos. The first Coal Oven Pizza join on Las Olas. It's not a huge restaurant…but can't wait to give it a try.

-Mancini's is moving. They are buying an old bar/club/restaurant complex just east of Rocco's Taco's and appear to be fixing the place up. If they are taking over the whole place…it's going to be quite large. No opening date is shown…but the old location is still open.
