Sawgrass Mills mall planning expansion and renovation.

Sawgrass Mills mall in Sunrise just keeps getting bigger. The company released some information on its plans to expand and renovate. The plans include a 40,000 square foot addition to the fairly new Colonnade Outlets that will add 20 new stores by next year. The Colonnade Outlets are an open-air section to the mall that contains more of an 'upscale' outlet mall selection along with PF Changs and the Grand Lux Café. This new addition will include some stores such as Under amour Factor House, DKNY Company Store, Original Penguin, Max Studio and Tony Burch.
The now closed Wanndo City space will be renovated, adding around 140,000 square feet of retail space in the mall. Forever 21 will move to take over a 60,000 square foot location making it the largest Forever 21 in Florida. In addition, Calvin Klein will expand and show off its largest outlet in the country.
The Oasis at Sawgrass Mills will also see a renovation. They are looking to improve the retail mix and new stores will be added such as Old Navy, Greg Norman and Talbot's. They are also planning a California Pizza Kitchen restaurant.
As if all that wasn't enough…they are also planning to improve public areas of the mall including improvements to restrooms, traffic flow and improved seating areas. They are even including a trolley service that will help shoppers get around the massive shopping complex.
