Ft. Lauderdale Beach Sonic opening 11/11/11!!
We've been anticipating this opening for like 2 years now. Finally, the new Sonic Beach location at Beach Place opens on 11/11/11. They took over the spot that once housed Max's Grill and from the pictures I've seen on their Facebook page...it looks really nice. I think this is the only Sonic where you can enjoy such a nice view while drinking some beers (or wine). This is a departure from the normal Sonic Drive-In...since there is no drive in (or drive-thru for that matter).
The Grand Opening is this Friday (11/11/11) and they open the doors at 5 PM. Normal hours are 10AM - 3AM. I hear they will be giving away free food this weekend...so I'm sure this place will be packed. This is Ft. Lauderdale's first Sonic. If you wanted your Sonic fix you had to drive to Palm Beach or Homestead.
