Of all our Fort Lauderdale reviews, our favorites are the weekend breakfast reviews. We love everything from retro diners to upscale delis and everything in between. This weekend we had a little of both in Parkland at Bagels With Café & Deli. I’ve been to the Starbucks in the same shopping center dozens of times but never realized this place was almost next door.
So close in fact you get great Wi-Fi reception from Starbucks. Inside, one side of the room is table seating. The other side has the deli counter and bagel bins.
You place your order at the counter, move down to the register to pay and they give you a number to display at your table.
Greek Omelet ($7.49) – This is a great price for a three-egg omelet with home fries and a bagel. The spinach inside was fresh – not frozen. The red-skinned potatoes were well seasoned. Now I can eat a lot, but this really was a big portion and I ended up taking my bagel and cheese to-go.
#13 – Two Eggs, Bacon and Potatoes ($6.49) – No complaints again. Everything was good well. And how can you not love the price.
The menu is very nice looking and easy to read. We overheard its getting an update so this menu might already be outdated.
The menu says they’re voted “Delray’s Best Bagel” so FTL Today will have to visit their second location as well.
